Your data,
kept simple.
Last updated: May 2026
Bonham Carter Film Company ("we", "us") operates this website at bonhamcarterfilms.com. This page explains exactly what data we collect, why we collect it, and how to control it. We've kept it short and human.
What we collect
- Inquiries you send us. When you fill out the contact form, we receive your name, email, an optional company name, and the message you wrote. We use this only to reply to you about your project.
- Aggregated visit analytics (only if you accept the cookie banner). We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit, which work resonates, and which devices they use. IP addresses are anonymised. No advertising IDs are collected. No cross-site tracking.
- Standard server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records basic request metadata (timestamps, IP addresses, paths, user agents) for security and reliability. We do not access these logs except to investigate abuse.
Cookies & Local Storage
We try to use as few cookies as possible. No analytics cookies are set unless you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. If you decline, or never see the banner because your browser blocks it, no analytics cookies are placed. We never use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

How to change your mind
If you accepted earlier and want to revoke consent, clear your browser's
site data for bonhamcarterfilms.com in your browser settings.
Next visit, the banner reappears and you can choose again. The Google
Analytics cookies will also be cleared.
How to block cookies entirely
Every modern browser lets you block third-party or all cookies in its privacy settings. You can also use a content blocker (uBlock Origin, Brave Shields, etc.) to block analytics scripts from loading at all. None of the site's content depends on cookies: pages, videos, the contact form, and navigation all work normally without them.
Who we share data with
- Web3Forms: handles delivery of your contact-form submission to our inbox. They store the message briefly while it's in transit. See their privacy policy.
- Google (Analytics): only if you accept the cookie banner. Google's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare: our hosting + DNS provider. They process the request to serve you this page. Cloudflare's privacy policy.
We do not sell or trade any data. We have never been asked to disclose data to a government or law enforcement agency.
How long we keep things
- Contact-form messages: kept in our inbox until the project is complete or the conversation naturally ends. Generally less than 12 months.
- Google Analytics data: 14 months, then automatically deleted.
- Server logs: 7 days at Cloudflare's edge.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete any data we hold about you. If you're in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have specific rights under those laws, including the right to opt out of "sale" of personal data. We don't sell data, but you can still opt out of analytics by declining the cookie banner.
To exercise any right, email maya@bonhamcarterfilms.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Security
Traffic to and from this site is encrypted with TLS. Our security contact and reporting policy is at /.well-known/security.txt. If you have found a vulnerability, please email maya@bonhamcarterfilms.com.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change how we handle data, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. For substantial changes, we'll surface a notice on the home page.
